Perhaps always a pyro at heart, Meghan first picked up a woodburning tool 4 years ago and was immediately hooked. What started off as a hobby has grown into a busy business regularly engaging in markets, custom orders, and stocking brick and mortar shops. Meghan is based in Parksville, BC and loves to create pieces featuring West Coast wildlife, pet portraits, and so much more.
I start off usually with a pencil and paper sketch of what I am thinking of creating. I then transfer the image to the wood canvas and burn everything entirely by hand. Often times my work also incorporates watercolour paint, and then I seal everything so that it is protected.
