My name is Lynne Churcher and I am an East Sooke Metal and Powdercoat Artist from East Sooke, Vancouver Island. I have a passion for the Pacific Northwest and all of its creatures and scenery. I love working with my hands and making unique Metal and Wood Art Pieces. When I'm not in my shop, I love spending time with my daughter Maryn and our Pomeranian Finley Floof.
Using my own designs and drawings I cut, grind and powdercoat my Metal Art Pieces using a CNC machine for the larger cuts and my own powdercoat oven for baking. For the last three years I have developed a special powdercoat coloring system to add dimension, color infusion and depth and then top with a glass resin for extra shine. I also have my own milling equipment to mill and dry my own wood such as Maple, Cedar, Yew and Spruce. I then use the live edge wood in combination with my metal art to create one of a kind Pieces.
