Deborah DeMille is a talented and creative designer seamstress with a passion for sustainability. She employs vintage fabrics in her designs, making conscious efforts to promote eco-friendly practices. Through her company, Dimity Handmade, Deborah showcases her unique creations, which have gained recognition through various platforms such as her Etsy Shop, local fashion shows featuring her designs on models, and participation in renowned craft fairs.
Each Dimity item of apparel is hand-crafted from Vintage Linens. I only use %100 cotton - with the exception of a few trims. Each garment is carefully laid out before a pattern is cut and assembled to feature the most charming aspects of the given linens. I also add some custom embroidery designs to some of my garments with my amazing Pfaff Embroidery Machine. I create all of my designs in my darling re-furbished 1972 Camper Trailer named Fanny. I make a number of sizes for women and girls of all ages and the focus is on style and comfort. Every article has pockets!
