Katherine Sydor has been creating fibre art for over two years. Inspired by nature, Katherine has focused on creating landscape tapestries since the beginning of her fibre art journey. Katherine’s goal is to always create pieces that evoke a sense of calm and allow a feeling of bringing nature into one’s home.
I create hand woven and macrame tapestries that are inspired by nature. I also create a variety of DIY kits of my own design so that others can try a variety of fibre art projects. I source sustainable materials such as recycled textiles and merino wool from other BC small businesses. Everything that I sell is handmade by me in my home based workshop.
