Full-Time artist from Sechelt BC. I have had numerous show in both Canada and the US. Over the years, I have juried into events in, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake, Fort Worth, Chicago and St Louis, among others. Past awards include two, Best in Show awards, and five, Best in Category awards. Additionally, I was a previous official event and poster artist for the Skagit Tulip Festival (the first Canadian to do so).
Contemporary Landscape Drawing with vivid Oil Pastels on panel or paper. I begin with a black surface and, then apply gold metallic leaf as landscape elements, prior to completing the work with oil pastel. My work has been described as 'Van Gogh meets Kandinsky at Klimt's house for dinner' - Ha!
