Tia Greenwood & Co. is a high-energy folk ensemble led by Victoria, BC–based cellist Tia Greenwood, alongside core collaborators Tamsyn Klazek-Schryer, Cynan Thompson, and Matisse Gubby-Hurtig. Rooted in Celtic, folk, and roots music, the group blends driving dance tunes and rich vocals, with arrangements featuring cello, fiddle, guitar, bass, banjo, and voice. Having met in the BC Fiddle Orchestra as teens, they have played together for years, gracing major festival stages such as Rifflandia, and many smaller intimate settings with their infectious joy and uplifting stage presence.
