A Journey Through Soft Latin, Jazz and Beyond. With over 20 years of combined experience, music is our passion, and we guarantee a lively, joyous performance that audiences will love. Sol Aravena’s musical journey began at the age of 11 with classical piano, evolving into a distinguished career that spans genres and continents. Hailing from Coyhaique in southern Chile, she honed her craft by studying composition at the Modern Music School, graduating with honors in 1999. Her own music which fuses Spanish lyricism with soft and acoustic elements, weaving in the sounds of nature—rain, waves, and rustling leaves. Her work is a celebration of mysticism, love, and the passage of time. This unique blend has earned her international acclaim, including two Independent Music Awards in the U.S.: Best Latin Soft Jazz Album (2005): Cambio de Estación Best Cover Song (2010): Bésame Mucho Often compared to artists like Bebel Gilberto, Björk, Sarah McLachlan, and Natalia Lafourcade, Sol’s music is a vibrant tapestry of Latin jazz, latin sounds, and heartfelt storytelling. Our repertoire features special arrangements of Bossa nova, Bolero and Latin jazz classics, characterized by rich textures and immersive atmospheres that transport listeners into the heart of the music and her originals in the same mood.
