The Quarantones Male Chorus is a small auditioned choir in the Comox Valley, singing music from a variety of genres and styles. With Denise Marquette as conductor and Kelly Thomas as accompanist and collaborator, they launched their very first concert featuring sea shanties in 2021. Members of the Quarantones have experience and backgrounds in such fields as musical theatre, rock and roll, opera, church and community choirs, professional choirs, folk and roots ensembles, barbershop, choral conducting, academia and music education.
