Peter Luongo is a renowned ukulele educator and founder of the Langley Ukulele Association and former Musical Director of the internationally renowned Langley Ukulele Ensemble. He is one the world’s most experienced and preeminent ukulele teachers. His accomplishments were documented in the award-winning film, The Mighty Uke. Peter spent over 30 years as a school administrator and also taught in the Music Education Department at the University of British Columbia. He continues to mentor current and future teachers, and work with ukulele students of all ages. He currently directs adult performing ensembles in Canada and the U.S. and is a regular presenter at ukulele festivals across North America and Europe.
