Desmond Day is a singer-songwriter from Vancouver Island, known for blending modern rock and pop-driven storytelling. With over a decade of live performance experience, his music speaks to themes of joy, peace, and love, resonating with a young audiences across Canada. In 2021, Desmond recorded Purple Sun and Black Gold on a guitar crafted from the floorboards of a rock legend’s childhood bedroom. When producers passed on the idea, he went back to the workshop where the guitar was made and captured the songs on his own terms—raw, real, and full of heart. Earlier this year, Desmond released Wild Horses and Ocean High, further cementing his place as a fresh and fearless voice in the music scene.
