The Filberg Festival is known for showcasing fine arts and crafts and for celebrating homegrown musical talent; but there is also a delicious variety of food and beverage offerings to enjoy.
Our vendors use ingredients to support local farmers and growers and they are great role models in reducing their environmental footprint by offering biodegradable cups, napkins, and cutlery and most condiments are offered in reusable containers. To help achieve a goal of zero waste, they use and encourage recycling on the grounds.
Food trucks from Victoria, Courtenay/Comox, Campbell River and the Gulf Islands apply each year hoping to secure a spot for festival weekend.
Many of your favorite vendors are coming back this year. Expect to find good eats at Yummies & Gyros, Canada’s Best Mini Donuts, Bobs’ Burgers, BaBa Gannouj, The Dragon Bowl, Thrifty Foods, Foodie Fix Tacos, and Farms Gate Foods. New vendors include Cabane A Patates, and Greek on the Street.
Need a beverage? White Caps Cappuccino and Royston Roasting offer hot or iced coffee and more. Of course, Lemon Heaven is back to squeeze a ridiculous amount of lemons to quench your thirst with their hand-pressed fresh lemonade.
And chill out with handmade frozen treats by Mexi Pops. Enjoy their local yogurt pops, and organic fruit pops. And this year Slopes Ice Cream will be available too!
The Filberg Summer Kitchen is open all weekend serving fresh, delicious lunch options as well as local beer and wine.
