Where is the Festival Located?

The Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park. The address is 61 Filberg Rd, Comox, BC

This park borders a residential street, so where should I park?

The festival is offering Valet Parking service for a premium fee.

You can also take the bus. The closest bus stop is located at Balmoral and Pritchard, which is a 9 minute walk from site.

Is there camping?

No, there is no on-site camping but you can find links to the nearest campsites here:

Will there be a search or screening at the gate?

All patrons, and their belongings, are subject to being searched as a condition of entry.

Is the Festival running rain or shine?

Yes. Tickets are non-refundable. But the Artisan Market Pass is good any day between 10 am to 7 pm. The Market Pass does not allow access to the concert area after 6pm, but you can upgrade at our box office onsite and stay and enjoy the evening concerts.

Is the festival venue a 100% strictly non-smoking venue?

There will be a designated vaping area, but as smoking is not allowed on site, there is a nearby off-site area with ashtrays and a fire extinguisher. Please be responsible.

Can we bring a cooler?

Outside food & beverage is not allowed, onsite concessions and bars are available.

Glass bottles, metal cans, plastic bottles?

Glass and metal cans will not be permitted. However, empty water bottles will be allowed. All plastic bottles are being strongly discouraged so be ready for friendly peer pressure to buy a Filberg Festival water bottle!

Best behaviour from all please!

Filberg Festival reserves the right to refuse admittance or to evict anyone who creates a disturbance, causes a nuisance, or is disrespectful of others.

Will there be alcoholic beverages?

Yes. The entire site is licensed.

3-Day Concert Tickets and VIP Passes are non-transferable

Your 3-Day Pass and VIP Ticket will be exchanged for a non-transferable wristband at the festival entrance. You’ll need to wear this all weekend but not to worry, it’s soft cloth and washable.

What do I get in VIP?

The VIP Weekend Pass includes admission to all three days of the festival, plus access to an exclusive backstage and side-stage experience. You’ll receive a festival wristband that provides access to our marketplace, plus exclusive access to the (Phillips) VIP Lounge with a private bar, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers during intermissions and desserts. You’ll also enjoy private covered lounge seating, side stage seats and comfortable dining!

Are professional cameras and recording devices permitted?

No. You can register for a Media Pass if you are a professional photographer. Otherwise take as many pictures and selfies as you want on your smartphone! And be sure to tag your photos with #Filberg Festival on Instagram

Are umbrellas permitted?

Yes. With the following exceptions; no oversized/golf/beach umbrellas.

Are animals permitted?

No animals are permitted on-site. With the exception of guide, service and/or signal dogs for persons with disabilities.

Are children free?

Children 9 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket. (Limited to Artisan Market area only)

Are lawn chairs permitted?

Yes, lawn chairs are permitted in the “Bring Your Own Seat” area. This is in two designated areas near the main stage and the Rotary Stage. Alternately, a limited number of folding chairs will be provided in the two concert areas.

No chair, no worries – the lawn is huge, and the dance areas are plentiful.

Are there tickets for specific artists?

All tickets are Festival tickets, and not for a specific artist. Artists and the schedule are subject to change without notice. Artist cancellations at a festival are not grounds for a refund.
