If you missed the 2012 Filberg Festival you have a chance to pick up a treasure or two at the Filberg Lodge Gift Shop Silent Auction on December 1 from 11am – 4pm.   This year over 75 artisans and crafters from the Festival donate a piece of their work for the silent auction.  Their support is very much appreciated ~thank you!

Our 2012 Guest Artist, Mary Fox, will be holding her annual sale on November 3 & 4 at her Ladysmith Gallery.  We have heard it is not to be missed.  She sales her “seconds” for 50-75% and everything else is 25% off.  Check out her website for more information www.maryfoxpottery.ca

We are also pleased to announce the Samphires – husband, wife and daughter team will be the 2013 Filberg Festival guest artists. Sid & Adele have been participating at the Filberg Festival since 1996 on and off again.  Their daughter Lisa is a very well accomplished glass artisan who has been at the Filberg Festival for the last three years. Lisa website is www.samphireglass.ca.  The combination of glass and clay forms will be on display and for sale the in the upper garden arbour throughout the Festival.

And finally, if you have not checked out the tremendous time lapse video that was produced by Rick Reeves with contributions of video footage and photos taken by numerous members of the Comox Valley Camera Club please check it out.
